秋意渐浓，丹桂飘香，旅游与城乡规划学院迎来了2024级国际浙小商。为了帮助新生加强彼此间的交流，熟悉学校和大学环境，尽快结识未来的同学和老师，旅游与城乡规划学院于9月20日举办了2024年全体国际新生迎新会。迎新会由国际交流与合作中心主任吴俊女士、国际生辅导员郭园园老师、国际生管理办公室学助万安琪以及2024级留学生新生和部分代表们参会，本次会议由吴俊老师主持。
首先，吴俊女士代表旅游与城乡规划学院向全体新生表示热烈欢迎，并给予了一些指导性的建议。同时，她介绍了学校的整体历史和学院的基本概况。
在郭老师的协助下，吴主任进一步详细介绍了国际学生在中国学习生活的方方面面，包括奖学金政策、行为准则、安全规定以及生活小贴士等关键信息。这些内容的分享，无疑为新生们解答了诸多疑惑，让他们对未来的校园生活有了更清晰的认识。
在会议的下一个环节，所有国际学生依次进行了简短的自我介绍。他们热情地向同龄人介绍自己的祖国，这拉近了彼此之间的距离，增进了相互间的进一步了解。
在会议的最后阶段，新生们积极分享了他们对于提升学习体验的想法，并就剩余的疑问向老师们进行了咨询。吴俊女士和郭园园老师耐心倾听了学生们的问题，并与他们进行了深入的讨论。同时，每位新生都收到了一本精心准备的手册，作为他们在未来的学习和生活道路上的指南。
正如吴主任在会议期间提到的，今天来自世界各地的这么多学生能欢聚一堂、结交朋友并分享经验，真是不可思议。希望大家能在这里度过美好的时光，努力学习，积极参与，并在不久的将来成为优秀的浙工商（ZJSU）学子。
In order to help new students strengthen the communication among themselves, get familiar with the environment of the school and the university, as well as get acquainted with their future classmates and teachers as soon as possible, the welcome meeting for all new international students of 2024 was held by the school of Tourism and Urban and Rural Planning on the September 20th. The welcome meeting was attended by Ms. Wu Jun, Director of the Center for International Exchange and Cooperation, Ms. Guo Yuanyuan, the international student counselor, Ms. Wan Anqi, the student affairs assistant from the International Student Management Office, as well as new international students from the class of 2024 and some representatives. The meeting was presided over by Ms. Wu Jun.
Firstly, Ms. Wu Jun, on behalf of the School of Tourism and Urban and Rural Planning, extended a warm welcome to all the new students and gave them some words of guidance. At the same time, she introduced the overall history of the university and school’s fundamental overview.
With the help of Ms. Guo Yuanyuan, Director Wu gave a detailed introduction of crucial points of living and studying in China, as an international student, covering such important aspects, as scholarship introduction, rules of conduct, safety regulations and tips, etc. This part of the meeting definitely had helped to dispel most of the doubts and answer most of the questions about students life, which the international students may have had.
In the next part of the meeting all international students gave a brief self-introduction one by one. They warmly introduced their home country with their peers. It narrowed the distance between each other, and enhanced the further understanding between each other.
In the end, all international students shared various ideas about enhancing the students’ learning experience and asked the remain questions to the teachers. Ms. Wu Jun and Ms. Guo Yuanyuan were happy to listen to their questions and discuss fresh ideas with the students. At the same time, international students received their own handbook, serving as a guide for their future students life.
As Director Wu mentioned during the meeting, it’s incredible that today so many students from all over the world gathered at the same table, made friends and shared their experiences. Hope all of you can enjoy a wonderful time here and become an excellent ZJSUer in the near future.
