2024年12月4日下午，旅游与城乡规划学院国际留学生一行20余人前往位于拱墅区的远洋凯宾斯基酒店开展实践教学。此次活动由吴俊教授和Veronica带队，全天陪同学生们参观和学习。凯宾斯基是国际知名的豪华酒店品牌，客房优雅舒适，内部装饰精美，设施先进；餐饮丰富多样，汇聚世界各地美食；服务周到专业，可满足各类宾客需求。杭州远洋凯宾斯基酒店自2017级国际学生起就成为旅游学院的实习基地，双方保持着长期合作关系，为国际留学生提供了绝佳的实践教学场所。
On the afternoon of December 4th, 2024, a group of over 20 international students from the School of Tourism and Urban-Rural Planning visited the Far Ocean Kempinski Hotel in Gongshu District for a practical teaching session. The event was led by Professor Wu Jun and Veronica, who accompanied the students throughout the day for the tour and learning experience. Kempinski is an internationally renowned luxury hotel brand, offering elegant and comfortable rooms, exquisite interior decor, and advanced facilities. The hotel features a wide variety of dining options, bringing together cuisines from around the world, and provides attentive, professional service to meet the diverse needs of its guests. Since the 2017 intake of international students, Kempinski Hotel Hangzhou has served as an internship base for the School of Tourism, and the two parties have maintained a long-term partnership, providing an excellent practical teaching environment for international students.

The international students from the School of Tourism were warmly welcomed by the management team of the Far Ocean Kempinski Hotel. The hotel's General Manager, Ms. Wen Liping, had a cordial conversation with the students and, together with the Assistant Director of Human Resources, Ms. Mao Sufang, answered the students' questions regarding hotel operations, career development in the hospitality industry, internship opportunities, and more.
之后，在酒店营销部门的带领下，同学们参观了酒店的各个经营区域，包括客房、酒吧、餐厅和健身房等，实地了解了酒店的工作流程和环境，并与酒店员工进行了深入交流。同学们表现出了极大的热情，尤其在总经理分享她的职业发展历程时，大家积极提问，展现了对酒店行业运作和职业发展的浓厚兴趣。整个过程中，同学们表现出极大的好奇心，不断提问，深入了解酒店的各个方面。
Under the guidance of the hotel's marketing department, the students toured various operational areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, the bar, restaurant, and gym, gaining firsthand insight into the hotel's workflow and environment. They also had in-depth discussions with the hotel staff. The students demonstrated great enthusiasm, particularly during the General Manager’s sharing of her career development journey. They asked insightful questions, showcasing a strong interest in the operations of the hospitality industry and potential career development opportunities. Throughout the visit, the students exhibited a high level of curiosity, continuously asking questions and gaining a deeper understanding of various aspects of the hotel.
